hi, umm so i open qr rookie on mac and install an app but it says the device is not connected even though on sidequest it is connected, help me ig

Hi @dhs1456, Before we can help, we need a lot of information.

Whats MacOs version? Your using intel ou apple silicom? What QRookie version? What method of installation? (Nix, .dmg, clone+build)

We recomend using nix to install all dependencies correctly.

Hi so im on sonoma 14.6.1 and apple m1. installed via dmg on _x86

Hi @dhs1456 The right one for you would be Apple Silicom (arm64) as your not using _x86 processor.

But, i still need to know what Qrookie version you have downloaded?

Maybe we need to re-build that version.

so i have just installed arm_64 and it says this disk is damaged and cant be opened

Probably we would need to see the Program logs to investigate your case. i need to charge my Quest 3 to be shore about this version and i will test more.

I have the same issue. M1 Mac, installed the arm version. Latest release. Does not detect device when plugged in
