Edit posts but not pages on wordpress #912

Hi.

Is there a way of letting users publish/edit posts, but not pages on my 
wordpress site?
I know I can disable the page publish/edit in the user roles. But I don't want 
to.
Basically I want to force the users to use the wordpress dashboard for page 
edits, and scribefire for post edits

I'm running scribeFire 4.3.5 on Google chrome on mac OSX 10.9, with wordpress 
4.2.4
