Remap up/down stairs on G2 physical keyboard? #68

This may seem dumb, but the G2 physical keyboard doesn't have < or > keys. Is
there a way to map these so I can go up/down stairs without having to use the
virtual keyboard just for that? There are some alt-chars that aren't used. I
tried hitting alt-space (to bring up the symbol menu), but that doesn't work
(and it doesn't have <> anyway).

It doesn't have a | key either (not important for nethack, but makes it hard to
do terminal work) :(

Yeah, I hadn't noticed that one yet (I'm new to the G2). At least | does show
up on the symbol menu.

Thanks for reporting this, didn't realize that those physical keys are missing
on the G2. I'll look for a solution when I have some time to work on the
project.

Meanwhile, for moving up and down stairs, it seems to me that the easiest way
would be to simply move to the stairs, then tap the center of the screen to
activate a context-sensitive command on the stairs, which should climb them in
whatever direction they go. For this to work, you need the Touchscreen Tap
option to be set to 3x3 Grid, but I think that's the default.

Alternatively, instead of tapping the screen you may be able to click the
trackball/pad, if that's supported on your phone, which should have the same
effect.
