trying to rename tags with 3000 cards → SPoD (macOS) #10

Great Add-on, very much needed!

However, I did encounter an issue when trying to rename the first-level (leftmost) part of a tag-hierarchy:

It worked perfectly when there were only 30 cards. But when I tried it for a tag-hierarchy with more than 3000 cards, the cursor turned into the 'Spinning Beachball of Death', and Anki became unresponsive.

There was NO error message.

After about 20 minutes of SPoD, I gave up.

Should I have waited longer?

Quite frankly I'm not sure. At the very least I'll try and make the load times a little more transparent, but I'll see if theres anything that can make it quicker.

It is possible that it'll just take a long time with thousands of cards due to the nature of the hierarchy.

Some manner of progress bar would be appreciated. It took about an hour to go through 14000 cards.

Doesn't that mean it should have done my 3000 cards within those 20 minutes? Well, I got an oldish machine ...

Nevertheless, I take it that it DOES work, which is great news. I'll have another go.

Just to wrap things up:

I tried it again, and it worked fine.

Don't know how long it took 'cause I went for a coffee ...
