Building the PCB / sourcing parts? #1

Hey @gligli!

I'm very interested in getting a PCB printed and sourcing the parts needed to build the clone. I was wondering if you could get me pointed in the right direction? I can update the README.md in a pull request with helpful info once I figure it all out? Thanks!

Hello,

I just added the bill of materials: https://github.com/gligli/juno-chorus-clone/blob/master/juno-chorus-clone.txt

Most of the components are standard ones:

Hope this helps!

@gligli that does help, thanks a bunch! I installed KiCAD and was able to generate the BOM in there as well.

The PCB printer near my house told me this:

We take Gerber files for our PCB fabrication, so if you'd like you can download KiCAD and re-export them, or we can do that for you under our labor fee.

So I'll probably figure out how to convert to Gerber. I'll let you know how it goes!

@gligli Hey just one more question - finally getting around to ordering parts hah!

What type/size are the varistors (RV1-5, 2x 10k, 3x 100k)?

Also curious what you used for P1 15VAC_IN.

Yeah I have so many questions too -- like what type of capacitors do we use? The BOM only has the raw values, but says nothing about the type, spacing, voltage capacity, etc. Can @gligli please provide more information so I know exactly what to order at Mouser.com or some equivalent site? Or maybe @dbalatero -- have you figured this out yet?
