4 years ago Hey @jhammock - Thanks for being patient and wait almost five years for your idea to list an exact match for a taxon name first and list the other (fuzzy) matches later. Thanks also to @neilcobb for providing a screenshot in https://github.com/scan-bugs-org/scan/issues/38#issuecomment-644316679 to highlight the existing issue.
See attached screenshot for example of exact match (e.g., Apidae) listed first.
as suggested by @jhammock:
when typing a genus name in the taxon selector in the interaction browser, I'd like to see the exact match for the genus taxon first, followed by species in that genus and taxa with similar names.
