Manual entry: Symptoms from unstructured sources #637
Curator feedback
A curator may entering symptoms reported from a non-medical social media source, like Twitter. If a tweet lists "my head hurts", what should be entered?

From an EPI perspective what is of value here? As I see it we have 3 options here:
The curator needs to use their judgement to enter a listed symptom. In example above headache would be the closest match
Curator enters the 'symptom' as a free text option
Curator doesn't enter a symptom but records the information in notes for the line list case.
@sratcliffe118 preference is for 1 to be used for MVP, and notes used as a backup location if there is no symptom listed which fits.
