Mpox 2024 - adding suspected cases #47

For curation team - how are we adding suspected cases from the ACDC reports? Some of the country blurbs will say "x number of cases" without specifically stating if a case is suspected. We have a lot of discarded cases reported in our line list, and these discarded cases also add to our cumulative case counts for each country. For example, the ACDC reports a total of 212 cases of Mpox in Uganda. We have 212 Uganda entries in our linelist, of which 22 are confirmed and 190 are discarded.

Did we stop recording cases as suspected unless they were speficially mentioned? Do we need to update our cumulative case counts to start including discarded cases?

For countries with 100% testing rate, assume cumulative totals include confirmed cases and discarded (negative) cases
