One thing to look at is data completeness for the fields in the current databases -- if fields are generally very incomplete (maybe less than 5%), then adding it to the schema does not do much.
These should not be combined in the day0 schema. If you only want one in day0, make it pregnancy. Otherwise have both separate.
Separate Pregnancy and PostPartum in the day0 schema. Is the patient pregnant? Yes | No Is the patient in the post partum period (< 6 weeks after delivery date) Yes | No

Recommendation: make pregnancy and post-partum separate concepts, consistent with T0 toolkit and ISARIC clinical dataset, to allow for accurate coding
The description of the attribute Pregnancy_status in the day0 schema is "Is the case pregnant or post-partum?". Pregnancy and post-partum are distinct concepts in SNOMED-CT. These are also separate concepts in the T0 toolkit CRF. Should these be split into separate attributes in the day0 schema?
