If user changes root password app will no longer launch #50

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. change password 
2. Open app 
3. Crash

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Should prompt user for passwod not automatically enter dottie

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

The password dottie is not hard-coded in the application, and is not entered
automatically.

Does this suddenly work if you change your root password back?

correct, as soon as I change the passwod back the app works again

Very curious.  Does rebooting help?  My root password is not dottie and 
everything
works great.
