this is now full of bugs and once you update gradle pass 3.5.3 you get this message Failed to resolve: com.github.glomadrian:MaterialAnimatedSwitch:1.1 Show in Project Structure dialog Affected Modules: app !!!!regardless of whatever solution you can find online regardless where you position maven
