$ /home/Rytal/.local/share/xorg/Xorg.01log displays output as expected, and strings /dev/nwfermi0also works and returns garbage text. $ /usr/sbin/nwfermi_daemon /instanceid 1 gives output :

StartThreads
Starting bulk thread
Starting tl thread

but does not show more output like X: and Y:

but, evtest displays fermi touchscreen and when I select it, it does not work.

i solved it myself XD.

Can you quickly share what went wrong or how you fixed it ? It's often useful for others.

Thanks,

sure :) some distros do not support file_name.* to include all the files with the same name but different extensins, and that's by the last 'cp' command wasn't working in my case. I use the command for driver.la and driver.so separately and it worked. btw Thanks for this awesome tol, my touchscreen finally works. Is there any way we can make it multitouch ? because my screen is multitouch, but currently the nwfermi driver only recogonises single touch
