Custom shortlinks for Portal users

Hi, @tslawecki and @kknee: just to follow up, here's the more popular and reputed open source tool for hosting a domain-branded custom url-shortener: http://yourls.org

Note that using the "public" option (where public users can create their own links) is recommended for intranets. You may/my not want to limit this feature to logged in users only to prevent attracting bots. They have attempted to reduce abuse with a couple of plugins: http://blog.yourls.org/2011/04/yourls-abuse-anti-spam-plugins/ but it seems that none of these have been updated in the past 5+ years.

Per RPS this would be a not-insignificant LOE so per Tad at DMAC meeting we will consider this for future enhancement, but low priority at this time.
