Russ Miller inquiry - new buoy site function: buoy status #20

Open kristinschrader opened 7 years ago

"I see a buoy list by lake on the right side of the page which is good, but doesn't show buoy status. Is there a landing page that shows buoy status at a glance across the lakes? "

Is he referring to glbuoys here? Wasn't sure about the list on the right comment???? I think on this one the right answer is that at glbuoys the color of the buoy shows if its active.

He is referring to glbuoys. I think he is also referring to the list, not the map, which does not appear to change color. On the old site there was a red bar in the list if the buoy wasn't operational. There is not change to the color of the type, for example, in the new listing. I'm not saying we have to change it, just saying we should know what users are asking about.

Actually the answer is that all are "up" unless the text reads "currently unavailable" so this should not be needed.

And yes the buoys are color coded if the data is unavailable or delayed image
