Command Line Interface clean-ups #110

Some slight improvements to CLI commands.

Helper methods have been moved to a separate module.
--output option has been added for more CLI commands.
Option definitions can be shared between CLI commands now.
Missing acceptance specs for CLI commands have been supplied.
Other minor improvements to code layout.

More enhancements will come in future pull requests.
