another stack overflow #28

Feel free to ignore this, and I'll close if you would rather limit issues here to bug reports. While the API is changing and data.tree is evolving, I thought I would just let you know that this question is out there. I tried to start an answer, and once I get feedback from the questioner will show a better strategy.

Thanks a lot for pointing this out, any such info is more than welcome here! I think your answer is exactly what I would have proposed. BTW, how do you manage to keep track of all this, you're all over!!! Put differently: are you a person, a family, or a machine??? ;-)

I think Kent is half bot half human from my 2 years or so of knowing him but he is 100% rstats machine!! ᐧ

Just a person who makes random discoveries from a very problematic lack of focus. Thanks for all your work. data.tree fills a need.
