An Edit with, or open in menu #1637

An Edit with menu A clear and concise description of what you want to happen. I'd like an "edit with" menu (like in nvalt), or an open with menu, in a contextual menu. I've different format text files like md, txt, fountain, taskpaper… etc. & I want to edit them with different apps. Just a way to open files with various apps. ;)

For the moment the better way I found to do that is to use the Share menu with the app "Shareful" to have an "open in" option in it.

Thxs for your great app a nice replacement to nvalt.

Additional context macOS 10.14.6

I like this idea.

Meanwhile, for macOS 10.15+ you can use Shareful:

You could also use: Alfred Workflow to open files from within FSNotes in any app.

There are probably many more ways to do this.

I already use Shareful (but the Share menu isn't keyboard centric ;) but when I use it the notes are locked. :/

Thanks for the Alfred workflow idea. My library isn't the default FSNotes default storage folder, but I edited the workflow and it's working :)
