I will add a text list to the "original" window. When I try to highlight certain text and use the ctrl+shift+c hotkey to generate a cloze, nothing happens. When I use the preview [[.] button or alt+shift+C multiple cloze cards are generated automatically from the text in the "original" window, but it is not 1 cloze per line; a cloze is generated for each line, also after any symbol (like + or -) and a cloze is generated for any text that is bolded or highlighted.
I know to keep the HTML formatting of bolded or italicized text I need to select the clozes, but the ctrl+shift+c does nothing.
