MIA Japanese support for Pop-up dictionary

  Problem case

  MIA Japanese and Pop-up dictionary are both excellent addons in their respective rights and an invaluable part of my workflow. Right now, as it stands, Pop-up dictionary will refuse to work while MIA Japanese is enabled. I would like these two addons to be able to work together at the same time, without having to disable either one when I use the other one.

  Solution

  I'm not really a programmer (yet) so I can't propose any viable solutions. Hope this goes through. Cheers, Hades.

This was an issue with MIA dictionary's integration into Anki. I filed an issue and submitted a fix here:

Thanks for this report. I just wanted to mention that for me, the addons conflicts with both MIA dictionary and MIA Japanese. Glutanimate mentions an issue with MIA dictionary, but it seems to be both.

(Just for posterity's sake: This is not really an issue with either of the two add-ons, but more of an oversight on Anki's add-on API that makes it very easy for incompatibilities like that to arise)
