Increase frequency of showing puppies during "add new cards" ? #16

It takes quite a few cards until the reinforcement comes up. For example, I found that the reinforcement would come up after reviewing 10 cards. However, when creating new cards, I had to create 23 cards before the reinforcement showed up.

Usually creating cards takes more time and effort than reviewing them, so surely the frequency for adding cards should be much higher?

You can customize the frequency by editing the config. 10 cards is the default, though that value is fuzzed by a spread value (also customizable).

However, I can see how it would make sense to have different settings for adding and reviewing cards. Still, I'm wary of adding too many additional settings since I feel we already have way too many, and every additional setting incurs a long-term maintenance cost.

So for the time being I will mark this as a potential enhancement for the future and keep observing how much demand there is for more fine-grained tuning of these values.
