Reason for existence? #2

This seems to be a very out of date fork of https://github.com/smartystreets/goconvey. The documentation doesn't spell out why it needs to exist.

I have some matchers for doing compiler work that the original authors arrogantly and frustratingly refused to merge.

Unless you need to do diffs while ignoring whitespace (very common in my use cases), you can probably use https://github.com/smartystreets/goconvey

(I use this everyday myself, but it's not something I support for others or intend for other's use. You are welcome to use it or fork it, of course, but you'll need to do any maintenance yourself.)
