We decided to allow external links on the three list pages (protein, glycan, site). Based on Rajas selection (#1822) the API will deliver a display label and an URL for these columns (#1823). The label will be the display text for the link. In addition we will have a small external link icon to indicated that its a non-GlyGen link. All external links should open in a new tab.

For example like Wikipedia does it:
