ways to filter glycans according to their “defined-ness”, preferably using terms understandable to the user, such as by the technology used (e.g. MALDI-MS only, etc.):

linkages fully defined (LC-MS/MS + exoglycosidase digestion, …?)
topology only (LC-MS…?)
monosaccharide composition (MALDI + ?)
base composition (MALDI only)
