Docs/community suggestion: Visibility / Wikipedia article #81

I'm interested since along time in distributed and fault-tolerant file systems
and I know/have used many of them. I've discovered them by various means,
including navigating 'related articles' and category linked articles at
Wikipedia.
However, I haven't heard about MogileFS until today. I've been disappointed for
WP having deleted MogileFS article because of alleged 'low notability':

mination%29

I think that the project has good merits and potential, but community building
is essential to foster greater adoption. So it would be a good idea to give it
more visibility:
Things tha would help:
- Provide "sites using" list
- Enhance SEO og GH page
- Find/compile blog posts on the 'net
- (more)

Also, improving the mentioned points would grant enough notability under WP
guidelines and would also be a boost in project's visibility and that would
broad the project community and health overall.

-Add article links in relevant wikipedia articles (distribute file systems,
etc) even if the article is still empty (ie, "red-link")

We did that years ago, look at the bottom section of the wiki. Didn't make much
difference and many other projects are more popular.

There's one wikipedia editor who had it out for us, and we're not "allowed" to
influence its linking. It got nuked several times. So that's the way it is.

Appreciate the thought though.
