So I just do
gem install nesta
from rubygems.org to install? Been planning to upgrade my Nesta installation for a while.
Yeah, basically that's all you do. I'm working on the docs and therefore still haven't publicised the gem yet; all there is in the meantime is the README on the gem branch. Ping me an email if you get stuck/want to fire up IRC…
There are multiple benefits of distributing Nesta as a gem. For one thing, we'd no longer need ./local for user specific changes as the default templates would be distributed within the gem. It would also be easier to mount Nesta in another rack based application.
