Trouble installing plugin #14

I am interested in trying out this plugin but am having trouble installing it. It is not showing up in the list of available plugins in plugin manager (as per the README file) - I only see the blazemeter version.
I then downloaded the source from git and built the jmeter-hls-player/target/jmeter-hls-player-2.3.jar file and added it to jmeter 5.1.1 lib/ext directory but I still don't see HLS Player logic controller or Media Playlist Sampler available to add to my thread group. Any help is appreciated - thanks!

the jar is compiled w/ jdk-11.0.1 you could check jmeter logs to see if it is being rejected.. also you can try loading the sample jmx plan

Thanks for the quick response - I recompiled it using jdk-11.0.1 and it's working great now. Nice work on this plug-in, the pacing/load is much more realistic than the bzm version :-)
