The COVID-19 Omicron variant is spreading quickly even among those vaccinated. GeeurtsvanKessel and colleagues hope to asses how neutralizing antibodies and T cell responses differ between the covid-19 variants (Beta, Delta and Omicron). The authors are especially interested in how T cell immunity to the variants are impacted by mRNA vaccination. These are pressing questions needed to address the rapid spread of covid-19 variants and its implication on vaccine efficacy.
š„³ Very good! The style is almost matched completely to peer review!
Using a neutralization assay to measure antibody function is a good idea. However, the figures this produced in figure 2 could be better designed. It may be more clear to see an overlay of the different time points instead of them being on different plots. For example, the authors could show the 28d PRNT50 plot for the mRNA-1273 vaccine and on that same plot overlay in a different color the 6 month PRNT50 plot for the same vaccine.
This is more or less matter of taste

Methods & Data
Fig1A is a well chosen graphic for displaying the makeup of the study group
Fig1B/1C are clear in showing difference in S-specific antibodies and T-cell activity throughout time in all of the vaccine groups. Nicely separated and it was a great idea to also include the numerical GMT and GM number at the top of the chart.
