Registration - Clicking registration does not lead to registration page #1

Steps to reproduce:

  1. When first visiting the page click registration button.
  2. Do not enter anything in the userid field.

Steps to work around:

  1. Enter a user id.
  2. Page will change to the registration field.

resolved. fix is in master. will improve UI later
