FAPPEND vs IO_APPEND #61

Whilst Solaris requires IO_APPEND for appending work, OSX uses FAPPEND. There's 
several places in the codebase which have almost identical calls wrapped around 
with the flag changed. Perhaps this could be #undef #def'd out to avoid having 
to do this everywhere, say, in ZFS Context.
