After more thought, I think the decision for sp. names to have 0 cardinality is justified. In case of Porphyromonas sp. PAGU1776 the canonical Porphyromonas is an artefact, and meant to be part of an undetermined binomial. In contrast Porphyromonas alone has a clear intention to present a genus name, so cardinality would be 1. I'll leave it as is.
