With the upcomming ATC capability for the commander role we are in need of 
fixed base defenses.

There is a choice between 2 medium to long range air defences

The NASAMS II (Ground based AMRAAM) system and the PATRIOT PAC-3

Maybe the DEV's allready have a model for on eof these systems available?

The PATRIOT is a more common system used by Project Reality NATO factions such 
as the US, Netherlands, Germany and Israel.

The NASAMS is in use with Norway and the Netherlands.

Does the BF2: Northern conflict mod team still exist? their site is no longer 
in use.
They have a NASAMS 2 model ingame.
