1 year ago Yes, this is something I've already made a working branch changing it, however it seemed too intrusive for too little gain at the moment and then I got no time to keep it up to date (#1310).
When (given it's being discussed) Loader bundles MixinExtras I'll probably bring it up-to-date and release Carpet using it. Until then I don't think I'll be updating it to get it ready (in my case mostly due to lack of time).
Also this is a duplicate of #1272, so I'll close this issue.

do the the extent of mixins being used with carpet I've been asked to offer the use of MixinExtras for future releases to prevent alot of breakage between mods.
