Thank @Ygarr for the suggestions. I have never heard of them before. I also want to add @commonsearch to the list.

So how do we decide which search engines to add? We need answers for these:

• Does it support https?
• Does it work without Javascript?
• Does it work without cookies?
• Does it render well in gngr? Atleast the search results should be legible.

2. Without JS(Tested on NetSurf browser, enable JavaScript = false) WORKS:

   • https://www.qwant.com/
     • DOES NOT WORK:
     • https://framabee.org/ (based on searx),

Thanks @Ygarr for that research! I will note just one difference: framabee is working fine for me without JS enabled (on Firefox and Chromium).

Adding these sites is far off.. I will first focus on getting them to render well in gngr.
