rather than having twitter links take you off page, have them pull up a modal window (or something) that allows the user to either "follow" that person or view their page. Opting to view their twitter page would do what the link currently does: take you offsite to their twitter page. The benefit is that opting to "follow" a user wouldn't take you off-site, and you could continue browsing noladex.
they would have to complete a twitter log-in the first time, but then whenever they are logged in to noladex they should be able to simply click twitter link to follow/view their page.
