need to detect if: http:// is added to form fields or not. twitter.com is at beginning of twitter handle or is it just the username (many broken twitter links)

This is fixed on the code for new users signing up in @lukeledet's commit (https://github.com/gnocode/noladex.org/commit/08136bf07fca277d779c884fddb0dcfc6d2d89f8), but an admin will probably need to go into the site and correct users who signed up before this code was implemented

Moving these comments to issue #8, as they are the same issue. Not sure if it got added yet...
