Hey, sorry, but it's been a long week and weekend for me. Let me try to answer this later tonight. Thanks.
"White line": I think you're referring to the white area at the bottom of the screen. If so, then there isn't a way to hide this. It's basically the status bar area plus find box area. Whenever I upgrade the UI again, I'll look at making this dynamic, but for now, it is what it is.
Categories label is not link: Honestly, this doesn't seem that meaningful: it's just a link to the Help:Category page. Do you use this link often? Or is it more a visual aesthetic thing?
topIcon: A few years ago, I added support for the top icon (featured article and other icons in the upper right). It looks like Wikipedia changed the css and it no longer works. I'll take a look at this later.
large logo: There really is no additional processing on XOWA's side. It just uses the image as is. Can you use a smaller image? If you don't want to use GIMP or some other image app, I'm sure there are other websites for resizing images
<a style="background-image: url(file:///F:/xowa/user/anonymous/wiki/home/html/logo.png);" href="/site/home/wiki/" class='xowa-hover-off' title="Visit the main page"></a>
Sorry for the delay, but been working a lot of hours recently. Hope this helps. Thanks.

Okay.

It is more like a visual aesthethic thing. But sometimes I would really like to use the link.

I'll see what I can do.
gfs files. Yeah, all the translation text is done through a custom format called "gfs". You should be able to replace values as is and they will show up in XOWA. Please do back them up as these files get replaced with every XOWA update
True. I already made back-ups. :)
Can you maybe help me adding
and
to XOWA? I'd do it all on my own if I only knew how to do it. :q
Hey!
Hope everything is fine. I don't think I have ever been using XOWA as much as I did for the past few weeks! I'm really into it.
I have some questions!
If that doesn't do it, here's another one:
You can't really see the line. It's where "XOWA" is. But I think you know what I mean!
look like
and English Wikipedia:
at the top right? It is already there, but at the very bottom (DE-Wikipedia)
So
should look like
As you can see, it's way too big. There are three logos in E:\XOWA\XOWA 64 bit latest 2\user\anonymous\wiki\de.wikipedia.org\html\de.wikipedia.org\static\images\project-logos, I picked "dewiki-2x.png"
And if I understand this correctly, it is basically possible to add "Not logged in", "Talk" "Contributions" etc. to XOWA? The en.gfs file has everything you need to make it like the original one. Correct me if I'm wrong! I already changed "Suchen" to "Wikipedia durchsuchen" and "Search" to "Search Wikipedia" just for the sake of the original. Not only that, but also did I try to add "Lesen, Bearbeiten, Quelltext bearbeiten, Versionsgeschichte" multilingual.
