3 years ago Oh, I also noticed same or similar bugs, but still nothing is done to stabilize progress bar / status bar at bottom It changes it's content with last action, last mouse position, and content partially or fully disappears when switching to other apps or not using it for long time, maybe when it gets into virtual memory.

Also my system is win10 x64 last version and 4 gb ram laptop, 1.66 GHz quad core cpu (Intel N3700) (although I see speed increasing to 2,4 GHz when in use). If you can really invent anything at all, either: separate progress like imports, downloads, loading from link is under cursor refresh it manually or automatically display it in different window, like show progresses, unfortunately show progress window only displays last actions performed but not progress of such last actions, e.g. how many pages imported from db so far... make 'show progress' window same as status bar with detailed messages, like how many percent maybe if possible show status bar in firefox via server
I hate this. When I am downloading some file, usually thumbnail or media. Then if I accidentally put cursor on some link, then status bar changes text to that link and loses text of current download progress. Then I have to avoid any links by running with cursor to some corner or out of the window. Can you make download progress persistent, or choice what will be displayed there, or keep text of links under cursor separate from download and load progress? Also text of download progress sometimes disappears when I switch to other apps or tabs.
Also this happens when I sometimes use other apps, games, put computer to sleep and resume etc. Then for example I can't watch import progress, because only half of line or less is visible due to graphical corruption or instability of it. Other parts of xowa are looking stable tough.
Maybe if you could make two separate lines of stats bar, one for what is under link, other for progress like loading, downloading, importing. And something that can refresh it in case of disappearance.
Some of apps I used while having this bug are internet download manager, http debugger, truecrypt, veracrypt, notepad++, proxifier, total commander, keepass, your-freedom vpn, comodo internet security, lingvosoft dictionary, firefox, nir launcher, 7taskbarswitcher, technitium mac address changer, httrack and use intel and nvidia drivers, last versions. Also used jdk8u152 for xowa x64.
