Do I understand that correctly that this is newt/0 running in 32bit mode on 64bit machines by using lookup tables? This would probably the much better alternative for me over newt/64 which does not run ViewFrame... .

I'm really not sure :) I had added binary part support to NEWT/0 after I saw that it works on 64 bit machines but before I noticed your work on newt/64, so I never checked the low level differences. I currently just need something which can build simple packages with ntkc parts, so I closed this PR and kept the changes to my fork of NEWT/0...
