guiops 0.5RC + libpurple 2.7.5 = nothing

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Use the shared library generated by 0.5RC version of this code. 

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Ctl+F11 should hide the menu, but it doesn't.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
0.5RC with libpurple 2.7.5, on arch linux.

Please provide any additional information below.
The old version still works great. Also, I am using XFCE 4.6.x, if it turns out 
to be a WM issue.

I confirm this bug on XFCE. I don't know what is causing it. It seems the 
combination of CTRL and function keys doesn't work the same way as in gnome. I 
noticed hiding the menu works when pressing CTRL+SHIFT+F11 in XFCE. Why SHIFT 
is also required is still a mistery to me. I'm working around this issue for 
RC2.
