Tilix Quake mode at start lack hide/show when using Elementary OS 6. #2048

I really love Tilix, but it unfortunately irritates me to no end now that I am using Elementary OS 6. I like to autostart Tilix at boot using the command "tillix --quake", which does as it should, but Tilix just sits there taking up 40% of the screen real estate. If I set Tilix to hide when focus is lost, I am used to using F12 to get it back, but there doesn't seem to be a preference to do that when using Elementary OS 6...

I think you have to configure a global shortcut which runs the command tilix --quake: https://gnunn1.github.io/tilix-web/manual/quake/
