[Feature Request] Bookmarks or Bookmark-Buttons in a Bar (top or side) #2105

Hi,

is it possible to have bookmarks in a site- or topbar to have it more quick.

Example:

i use 8 Bookmarks i want to have instantly in a session.
i can give it another short name (like "ntstat-tlpn" for the Bookmark "netstat -tulpen")
i mark them and rename it in the Bookmark/Preferences an then its shown next to "add terminal"-Buttons in a much smaller font.

One Click activate the command.

Just wondering, how do you currently select/enter in a bookmark that you previously created? One thing I do that I find very useful, and so that I don't have to even reach for my mouse, is set up a keyboard shortcut in Tilix for adding and selecting bookmarks. Screenshot from 2022-10-26 22-51-35

This makes it really easy to pop up the bookmark selection menu and type in the name of the bookmark or select it from your listing.

yes, its a workaround... i use strg-shift-b and i think my arrows to select the bookmark...(actuall in windows). anyways using keyboard is more effectiv, unless you kan select the bookmarks-tabs faster...a question of descision.

It's crazy that Tilix doesn't have this basic feature. I thought it was a modern terminal client
