Help Needed: On new split, any option to auto focus the new split tile #2142

I want the focus to shift on the new split whenever its opens ( down/right) - CTRL+SHIFT+R / D I have not found a way to do this.

Note: Even using command line action will do but I did not find any option for focussing on the split

Just for clarity, currently even on opening new split/tile, The current split is highlighted When someone is opening a new split, they want to type something in the new split.

Not sure if this behavior is implemented this way for some specific reason

FWIW, I can't reproduce. When I open a new terminal with "Add terminal down" button the new terminal has the keyboard focus, as I would expect.
