Wrong image? have you flashed this https://github.com/gnuton/asuswrt-merlin.ng/releases/tag/gnuton-snapshot-feature-repeater Repeater mode is an experimental feature which is only availabe in this special build

Yes, that image. I own the respective ADSL router, and I think am in a need of a repeater. Later to find out that it can't.

Administration mode is available, and if I select repeater it redirects me to the next page which are the jpegs above.

Thank you.

Hi, I do not currently have this image installed on my router to guide you step by step on how to configure it, but i just remember that i tested the image and it worked for me. So it s supposed to work. You may need to factory reset your router before trying.

Btw if you wanna extend the wifi coverage of another Asus router with a dsl-ac68u in repeater mode, please don't. In that case just use the standard dsl-ac68u image in aimesh mode. The wifi would be much faster.

I though repeater mode can work with any wireless.

Will test with a factory default. And with an older firmware.

repeater mode works with any wireless. AIMesh works only with Asus. My suggestion was to use AIMesh if you had another Asus Router
