Hi,

It looks like the official Merlin version supports Samba 3.6, but this firmware only allows version 2.

I’d really like to use Samba 3 for its performance gains.

@dijkermans @gnuton This is not a bug. This would be considered a Asus issue as it is designed this way in stock firmware as well.

If you want to use newer samba protocols refer to this. https://github.com/gnuton/asuswrt-merlin.ng/issues/668
