Mirroring a large repo through the API causes the task to fail #31498

Description

When creating a mirror repository through the API, the corresponding task cannot be created. When encountering a relatively large repository, the creation always fails.

Thank you for opening the issue report. A few questions:

Are you able to provide a public repo that you have been able to notice the error with?
Is the error only happening with the API, can you successfully create the mirror the repo using the web interface?
Can you upgrade to the latest stable version (currently it is 1.22.0), and test to see if you face the same error?
Can you provide any logs of errors happening with the mirroring process?
