Is there a way to make it work with https://github.com/deepmap/oapi-codegen ?

I couldn't find any documentation on that.

I am not aware that https://github.com/deepmap/oapi-codegen is using this strfmt. oapi-codegen is a not affiliated with this project, it is up to oapi-codegen to produce code using strfmt or not.
