Question: Can you create ISO-conform PDF/A? (from A-1 to A-4) #21

apologies for the belated answer.

I must admit I am completely ignorant about this. fpdf can embed fonts, so there is a large swath of (un)reproducibility "bugs" smashed down right there.

according to the universal source of truth in the known universe, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PDF/A, there are other items for a library to produce PDF/A compliant documents.

I don't think fpdf ticks them all. (although, as fpdf was originally a transliteration of the PHP-based FPDF that does support PDF/A-1, it's probable fpdf does as well.)

I don't have the bandwidth to provide support for this, but I'd happily review PRs.
