Hello,

the firmware is obviously based on the dd-wrt suite.
I am just wondering which package you used as a base and if it is possible to
install a normal dd-wrt package on the vigor2130

No. It is openwrt, not ddwrt.
It is based on openwrt "Kamikaze".
It is not possible to use new version of openwrt/ddwrt without the porting of
lower level drivers.

Yeah I mixed those up.
Will you at some point update to the newer versions of openwrt and/or provide
your users with the drivers, so they can compile their own version of openwrt?

The GPL source code already in DrayTek web site. You can build your own
firmware.

So it is official that DrayTek won't release an updated firmware version that
is based on Backfire?
