FFXIV repair error #1225

Update disclaimer

What did you do?

verified the files, then tried to repair the game about three times after with the same error. It's telling me to uninstall the game and reinstall.

Platform

Windows

Wine/Proton runner version

No response

@reiichi001 might be best to take them out again, if kizer isn't around and they're not working well. We should set up some pipeline for this in the future, maybe?

I’ve tried repaired from xiv launcher a few times now but, still with nothing working. I did use text tools in the past and I’m not sure if that would be affecting it. Would uninstalling and reinstalling the game be my best option? I am also a steam user if that makes any difference

To explain what this error is: TLDR our repair no worky. I'll close this issue once we confirm it's working on the latest gamever properly.

@lichenthropy please do not open duplicate issues for this. We're still working on it.

The repair indexes I had merged earlier were incomplete. I just uploaded a new set, but I need to wait for my fresh reinstall to finish up so I can validate them. I'll let you know when repair ready for you to use.

Ah sorry, I only meant to add duplicates as to update what errors I was seeing on each launcher. Sorry about that, thank you for your help!

@lichenthropy I think we're good to go now. Can you try running a repair and let me know if it completes or errors?

i can test a repair as well, else i DL the game very quick, so i don't care if it breaks

Ok as of rn It seems to be working! Just hoping on the game right now and hopefully there will be no crashes or anything
