This Square Enix account cannot play Final Fantasy XIV #634

Using the launcher gives the error "This Square Enix account cannot play Final Fantasy XIV". However, I can play the game just fine with the vanilla launcher.

Steps to reproduce the bug:

1. Start the game.
2. The error appears instead of the launcher.

Other information (please complete the following information): Operating System: Manjaro Linux XIVLauncher version: v6.1.3.0 Launching as admin?: no Using Steam?: no Addons/Plugins enabled: yes/not sure how to disable them without starting the game

Additional information Bought Endwalker, have Playtime, everything. As said, I can log in just fine with the vanilla launcher

Hi, do you use a VPN of any kind?

Can you please attach the output.log file as well? You can find it in $WINEPREFIX/drive_c/users/$USER/Appdata/Roaming/XIVLauncher/

no VPN of any kind. I now see in the log that it thinks that I'm using a steam account. But I don't. I use the game without steam. So maybe that's it? But I don't see a way to tell it whether I'm using steam or not. "Steam integration" is disabled.

Steam Integration and Steam Service Account are separate checkboxes.

Steam Integration is to tell the Steam client FFXIV is running. (And doesn't typically work in Linux anyways)

The Steam Service Account checkbox is on the main XIVLauncher and is for people who bought FFXIV on steam, as it's treated as a separate platform. If you didn't, don't check that box.
